How It Works
Get a Daily.co API Key
Sign up at daily.co and create an API key. Add it in the plugin settings. The plugin uses Daily.co’s REST API to create and manage rooms.
Configure Room Behavior
Choose whether each listing gets its own room, each vendor gets one room, or rooms are created per booking. Set optional expiry and permissions (e.g. host vs guest).
Add the Video Button to Listings
The plugin adds a “Start video call” (or custom label) button to listing pages. When clicked, it creates or fetches the room and opens the Daily.co embed.
Vendors and Buyers Join from Your Site
No redirect to a separate app. Video runs in your marketplace. Optional: show the button only to logged-in users or only after a booking is confirmed.
